nothing special, not worth 45.00. I thought they would be a better quality of material, but na, just gold plastic. Bought these for my son, not a big hit. so just paid over 8.00 a tape, would never do it again. Not worth the money to me

hello
They look awesome, but sound quality is terrible.

I recorded music onto the tapes, and it has a terrible static white fuzzy noise that drowns out the music. Big bummer, because they are expensive and look really awesome, but unfortunately they just don't sound good.

Record with broken tabs on cassette tape

Tip from an electronic tech: the tabs are meant to be snapped off after recording in order to prevent accidental erasure of your recording. However, you can put a small piece of scotch tape over the broken tab cavity to record over your old recording on the cassette tape; and for blank cassette tape with tabs removed, it works the same way. Just make sure the scotch tape is taut over the cavity.
